Accept no imitations! The Aqua-Dec is the original wetroom floor former
designed and manufactured by Impey UK.
Once installed, the Aqua-Dec provides a completely open-plan shower area with no
tray, steps or protrusions - just glorious, useable space and because it is
lightweight it can be easily installed by a single tradesman.

Tilesafe Membrane
A cold applied, self adhesive , water-proof membrane consisting of a thick
bitumen based layer that incorporates a woven glass fibre mesh on one side for
the application of tiles.

Drainage Options
The drainage systems available for the Aqua-Dec have been specifically
designed to be the most versatile on the market. Our traps have been designed
to be shallow, which makes them ideal for cramped or restricted areas where
space can be a problem.

LinearFlo-Dec
The new 'LinearFlo-Dec' wetroom floor former really sets us apart from the
competition, with all of the great features found in our original Aqua-Dec
design, but with a twist for contemporary living.

Wedi fundo opens up exciting design opportunities for open plan tiled bathing
areas. Five shapes - round, oblong, spiral, pentagonal with corner entrance, and
Fundo with an offset drain - form the basis for the most imaginative solutions.
Fundo elements include the base with ready-made fall and enhanced coating,
sealed horizontal and vertical drains and shower partition sets. All are
suitable for concrete or suspended wooden floors

It is essential to use the exclusive Fundo drain unit, supplied with the rest
of the system, whether the installation is in a wooden or a concrete floor. It
must be solidly embedded, secure and restrained.
The drain unit is specially designed to connect with all styles of Fundo base
and fit in shallow underfloor spaces. The use of any other drain is not
possible.
Throughout the installation, cement-based flexible tile adhesive must be used.
Pre-mixed ('tub') tile adhesive must NOT be used. It is advised that wall
construction and tiling is completed before installing the Fundo.
Appropriate drying times must be allowed before tiling and subsequent grouting.
It is important that the joint between the drain grid support frame and
surrounding tiling is formed using a mastic type of grout (e.g. silicon) to
remain flexible.
Under no circumstances should anyone walk or stand directly on the Fundo before
it is tiled. Cover the Fundo with a board whilst tiling walls to avoid
indentations and surface contamination.

A careful plan should be made of how the tiles are to be laid
There is a 'valley' running from the centre of the Fundo to each corner
(see white dotted lines). It is important to cut tiles for the edges to follow
the direction of this fall across the whole area of the Fundo. The surrounding
tiling can follow any desired run. If the tiles bridge the 'valley lines', they
may fail, offer a raised profile or water may not drain away properly.
